Happy Christmas Shopping!

Spending on Christmas is set to grow by 7% this year, despite the economic downturn.

Remember, accrue more credit card debt or Santa and the elves will be displeased!

I had typed in a huge grumpy comment to this entry but half way through I was losing the will to live because of the amount of things that annoy me about Christmas. So instead here are a few things I love about 'The Holiday season':

1) You get off work.
2) You get to laze around eating and drinking all day (and Night).
3) You get the chance to spend some quality time with your friends and family.
4) You get loads and loads and loads of under wear and toiletries from Granny/Granddad/Auntie/ Uncle...

Anyone care to add to my list?

Bollocks to all that festive goodwill, neighbour!
I'm posting another post about the twelve things I most hate about Christmas.
But for those who think I'm being a curmudgeon, I'll leave this open for others to add to Missing Neighbour's list of good Christmas things.

There is also an ecological impact, of all the rubbish, packaging...
